Our story

Someone in your corner

Every business has a moment when it feels like nobody is in its corner. We know that moment well.

We met in 2020 and became friends almost straight away. Before long we were working side by side, and then living under the same roof, sharing the bills and the big ideas.

Those years were not easy. There were stretches when money was painfully tight and the road ahead was hard to see. But there was never a day when either of us stood alone. When one of us fell, the other was already reaching out a hand. No keeping score. No conditions. Just loyalty.

People do not need perfect. They need someone who shows up.

Along the way, each of us found our craft. Alister went deep into artificial intelligence. Aven went deep into cyber security. Two different paths, and one question that kept coming back: how do we use what we know to help people?

We looked around and saw South African businesses working incredibly hard, often with nobody in their corner. Owners carrying everything themselves. Technology that felt out of reach. Providers who built something, handed it over and disappeared.

We did not want to be another provider. We wanted to be the people we needed back then.

So we built Skyprem. When you work with us, we do not hand you something and walk away. We stay. We pick up the phone. We grow with you, the same way we grew with each other.
