How we handle your information
Last updated 10 October 2026.
This notice explains what personal information Skyprem collects through this website and our discovery calls, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and the choices you have. We wrote it to be read, so it uses plain language.
Who we are
Skyprem (SKYPREM, a private company registered in South Africa, registration number 2026/877751/07) sets up and runs lead response, follow-up and booking systems for other businesses. For the information you share with us through this website, by booking a call or by contacting us, Skyprem is the responsible party under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Our information officer is Alister Moonsamy, registered with the Information Regulator. You can reach us about anything in this notice at hello@skyprem.com.
What this notice covers
This notice applies to visitors to this website, people who book a discovery call or contact us, and people who represent businesses we work with or partner with. It does not cover the customers of our clients. See "When we work for a client business" below.
What we collect
- When you book a call: your first and last name, mobile number and email address, which are required to confirm and hold the booking, and the date and time you choose. We also ask a few short questions about your business, such as its name, sector, roughly how many leads it receives and what you would most like to fix, and how you would prefer us to contact you before the call.
- When you contact us or speak to us: what you tell us by email, message or phone, and notes from our calls about your business needs.
- When a partner introduces you: your name, business and contact details, shared by the partner with your knowledge.
- When you browse: website statistics such as pages viewed, the site that referred you, device type, browser and country. We use this in aggregate to understand how the site is used. It is not used to identify you or to build a profile of you.
- Technical and security information: our hosting and security providers process information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Please do not send us medical, financial or other sensitive personal information through this website. We do not need it to arrange a call.
Cookies and similar technology
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our website statistics are collected without cookies. The booking calendar on our site is provided by our booking provider and may use cookies or similar storage that it needs to work, such as remembering your selected time while you complete the booking. If we ever add tools that use non-essential cookies, we will update this notice and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Why we use it
- To confirm, manage and hold the call you booked, and to send you the meeting details and reminders.
- To contact you before the call, the way you prefer, to confirm details we need.
- To prepare for the call and give you advice that fits your business.
- To follow up on the call and, if you decide to work with us, to prepare a proposal and agreement.
- To run, secure and improve this website.
- To meet our legal obligations, and to establish or defend legal claims.
We process this information because you asked us to take these steps before entering into an agreement with us, because it is in our legitimate interest to respond to and serve businesses that approach us, or because the law requires it, as POPIA allows.
Marketing
Booking a call does not sign you up for marketing. We only send you newsletters, offers or similar marketing messages if you ask us to, and every marketing message tells you how to stop receiving them. Messages about a call you booked are not marketing. We never sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where we need to, and only with:
- Service providers who process it on our instructions, such as our customer relationship and booking software, video meeting, email and messaging providers, and our website hosting and security provider. They are bound by agreements that require them to keep it secure and confidential.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, where needed and under confidentiality.
- A partner who introduced you, limited to whether a call took place and its general outcome, so they can support you.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Information sent outside South Africa
Some of our service providers store or process information outside South Africa. We only use providers that are bound by laws, binding agreements or terms that give your information a level of protection similar to POPIA, or we transfer it where you have agreed or it is needed for the service you asked for, as section 72 of POPIA allows.
How we protect it
We protect personal information with reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. Access is limited to the people who need it for the purposes above, our accounts are protected, information is encrypted in transit to and from this website, and we choose providers with strong security practices. If we believe your personal information has been accessed or acquired by someone unauthorised, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.
How long we keep it
If a call or contact does not lead to working together, we delete or anonymise your details 12 months after our last contact with you. If you asked to receive marketing, we keep your contact details for that purpose until you opt out. If you become a client or partner, we keep records for as long as our agreement and the law require, including for tax and accounting purposes. Aggregated website statistics do not identify you and may be kept longer.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask whether we hold personal information about you and request a copy of it;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or out of date;
- ask us to delete information we no longer have a reason to keep;
- object to our use of your information, including for marketing, at any time;
- withdraw consent you gave us, without affecting what we did before.
Email hello@skyprem.com to use any of these rights. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within a reasonable time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
When we work for a client business
When we run a system for one of our clients, such as a practice, firm or contractor, that client is the responsible party for its own customers' information and Skyprem processes it on the client's behalf, as its operator, under a written agreement. If you are a customer of one of our clients, please contact that business about your information first. We will help them respond.
Children
This website and our services are meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for how those sites handle personal information, so please read their own privacy notices.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice when our practices change and show the date of the latest version at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold about you, we will let you know.
